Hybrid One-Coat System
Liquid Roof Repair

Liquid Roof Repair is a hybrid, one coat system, for the maintenance and repair of all types of roofing substrates. A highly water resistant, bitumen-free, 100% active, VOC free, formulation, proven to last up to 10 years. High performance, flexible, crack resistant viscous liquid, suitable for indoor and outdoor repairs and maintenance. Highly durable and plasticizer free, professional grade formulation. Safer, environmentally preferred and more effective than traditional bitumen systems and current market alternatives. Very good adhesion to damp surfaces, Liquid-Roof Repair does not require primer and is supplied ready to use.

Fields Of Application
Liquid Roof Repair

This highly versatile formulation is suitable for use on a wide variety of substrates. Ideal for waterproofing leaks on all types of flat and pitched roof surfaces to provide immediate waterproofing and preventing further damage. An effective solution to repairing damaged gutters and drainpipes, this flexible formulation permits movement between joints, maintaining effective management of rainwater flows through external drainage systems. Suitable for use as an emergency repair to up-stand, chimney and window leaks. Suitable for use on below ground leaks such as basements due to good adhesion on damp surfaces.

Preparation Of Substrate
Liquid Roof Repair

Test a small inconspicuous area before proceeding, to ensure finish, compatibility and performance are acceptable. Ensure the surface to be treated is clean and free from dust, dirt, oil, efflorescence, organic growth, grease and old coating films. All cleaning detergents should be thoroughly rinsed away. For best results remove excess water from the surface. The patch repair will adhere well to damp surfaces

How To Use
Liquid Roof Repair

  • This product is supplied ready to use and should not be diluted. Stir well before use. Two coats may be necessary depending upon the degree of repair. Subsequent coats should be applied within 8 hours of the first coat.
  • Liquid-roof repair can be applied using a roller or brush
  • Applying the product from bottom to top on vertical surfaces taking care not to let the product run.
  • Apply an even coat. Ensure a minimum thickness of 1000 microns (1mm) per coat
  • Allow to fully cure before subjecting to heavy use. Touch dry in 1 hour; optimum performance is achieved in 7 days. Note: bituminous substrates can change the colour of the patch repair, this discolouration is normal and does not affect performance. Damp surfaces can cause bubbles within the roof area. If the product is applied at a rate of less than 1000 microns, this could result in failure of the system. For maintenance and future repairs, or where over-coating is necessary, the previous repair should be agitated with coarse sandpaper or wire wool before applying further product.
