R186 Black Limestone Restorer
Black Limestone Restorer forms a hard durable silane/siloxane resin network that chemically reacts with the substrate. This special design of different molecular weight polymers enables superior performance. Black Limestone Restorer is a stain resistant, water repellant, colour enhancer which improves the overall visual appearance of the substrate.
- Always test a small inconspicuous area before use to ensure surface compatibility, performance and finish/texture is acceptable.
- Shake container before use. Use neat as supplied
- Ensure surface is thoroughly dry,clean and free from mould, algae and efflorescence before application.
- If the pavers have been cleaned prior to application, all traces of the cleaner must be removed from the surface with a pressure washer as remaining cleaner could render the stone impermeable.
- Ensure footwear is clean or wear protectors to avoid contamination.
- Do not pour directly on to paving. Apply using a paint pad to one paver at a time, ensuring an even coat. Finish the application on the joint.
- Mop up residue with a rag or lint free cloth immediately as you continue the application. Failure to do so will result in a slippery surface.
- For more porous surfaces, repeat the procedure within 20 minutes of the first coat. Ensure all excess product is removed or surface may become slippery when wet.
- Substrate temperature must not exceed 20°c during application.
- Do not apply in hot weather, direct sunlight or within 4 hours of wet weather
