R124 Tarmac Sealer & Restorer

Tarmac Sealer & Restorer is a high performance treatment for renovating tarmac drives. Formulated with advanced acrylic technology to give a high performance protective finish, which is resistant against water, oil and stains, fast drying and easy to use.

How To Use
Tarmac Sealer & Restorer

  • Tarmac sealer and restorer is ready to use and should not be diluted.
  • Shake container before use
  • Apply with a soft brush or long pile roller, spreading over the surface at a rate of 4 - 6m2 per litre, strokes should be overlapped to give an event finish
  • Allow to dry for 2-4 hours and apply a second coat following the same process

Surface Preparation
Tarmac Sealer & Restorer

Remove all dirt, loose material, moss and algae from the surface using an appropriate fungicidal wash. Oil and grease deposits should be removed with a good quality degreaser before application.. Make sure surface to be treated is clean, dry, stable and free from any loose chipping.

Precautions For Use

Cleaning Of Equipment
Tarmac Sealer & Restorer

Remove as much excess product as possible and clean tools and equipment immediately after use with soapy water.

Important
Tarmac Sealer & Restorer

Do not apply in wet weather or when rain appears likely for at least 24 hours after completion. DO NOT apply on newly laid tarmac within 90 days or concrete within 30 days. Keep pets away until surface is fully dry. Do not apply when ambient/surface temperature is below +10c or above +25c.

Curing
Tarmac Sealer & Restorer

At between 25c and 30c surface will cure in 2-3 hours, at 12c it will cure in 4-6 hours. Times are at recommended coverage. Restrict vehicle access and heavy use for 24 hours.
