OVERVIEW


Water washable tank stripper is suitable for use as a tank stripper or in conjunction with the Paramose Flo-Through machine. Its special formulation will remove most multi layered paint, varnishes and coatings quickly and cost effectively. Ideal for stripping doors, furniture, alloy wheels etc.. It is designed to remove varnish, twin pack, paints, epoxy adhesive, bitumen and lacquers. Suitable for both hardwood and softwood.

IMPORTANT LIMITATIONS


Ensure there is effective ventilation in all processing areas, in particular for the wet processing and the drying of stripped articles: local exhaust ventilation at strip tanks supplemented by forced ventilation in those areas, so as to minimise exposure and to ensure compliance, where technically feasible, with relevant occupational exposure limits; Measures to minimise evaporation from strip tankscomprising: lids for covering strip tanks except during loading and unloading; suitable loading and unloadingarrangements for strip tanks; and wash tanks with water orbrine to remove excess solvent after unloading; Measures for the safe handling of dichloromethane in striptanks comprising: pumps and pipework for transferring paint stripper to and from strip tanks; and suitable arrangementsfor safe cleaning of tanks and removal of sludge; Personal protective equipment that complies with Directive 89686EEC comprising: suitable protective gloves, safety goggles and protective clothing.

SURFACE PREPERATION


Always test a small hidden portion of the substrate before use, to ensure the .nal result is satisfactory and to calculate consumption.

APPLICATION


Ideally apply out of direct sunlight Using a .o through machine:Stand object in tray and apply TS10 working from the bottom up. Allow TS10 to soak in for 5 minutes and then reapply again working from the bottom upwards, washing off the coating with stripper as you go. When most of the old surface is removed or loosened leave to drain for 1-2 minutes Using a tank:Submerge items at least 25mm below surface Allow the excess to drip back into the tank Remove residue with cold water and allow to dry Chemicals Limited, PO Box 88, Southport, Merseyside PR8 5LH.
